Overview

We are hiring immediately for part-time PATIENT SERVER positions at Saint Francis, 929 North Saint Francis, Wichita, KS 67214. Online applications are accepted only. Schedule: part-time; days may vary, 5:00 am to 8:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery and pick-up, special requests, and in-between meal food delivery.
• Exhibits a friendly, caring attitude to patients when taking menu selections and delivering trays; interacts with nursing staff to ensure diet prescriptions and patient needs are met.
• Assembles trays according to patients’ menu selections, retrieves trays from patients’ rooms, and maintains accurate patient information on assigned units.
• Monitors patient dietary needs, assists dietitian with patients on NPO, liquid diets, or with calorie counts; adheres to dietary restrictions and food allergies when providing alternatives.
• Follows HACCP, health, sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures; maintains a clean, sanitary working environment; reports problems in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
