Job Details

• Position: Immediate openings for full-time and part-time PATIENT SERVER roles.
• Location: Genesis East - 1227 E Rusholme Street, Davenport, IA 52803. Note: Online applications only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts, including 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, with every other weekend required. More details during interview.
• Requirements: Customer service experience required; food service experience is a plus.
• Perks: $1.00 shift differential for nights and weekends.
• Pay Range: $15.50 to $17.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Responsible for patient food service on assigned units, including menu selections, tray assembly, delivery, and special requests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, caring service to patients during menu selection, tray delivery, and pickup.
• Take and document patients' menu selections accurately.
• Follow dietary restrictions and accommodate special diet needs.
• Assemble trays and interact with nursing staff to ensure dietary accuracy.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to health and sanitation regulations.
• Assist with monitoring patients on special diets and communicate concerns appropriately.
• Complete reports and follow safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds.
• Proficiency with hospital computer systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
