ECU Health North Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 204-bed acute care facility serving Halifax, Northampton, and Warren counties in North Carolina, with a service area extending into southern Virginia. The hospital employs over 600 team members and offers a broad range of medical and surgical services, including a 24-hour emergency department, advanced diagnostics, and specialty and primary care.
The Patient Scheduling Coordinator (PSC) provides safe, efficient, and cost-effective outpatient scheduling services. As part of a healthcare team, the PSC is responsible for scheduling outpatient procedures and appointments, maintaining professional communication, and ensuring a positive first impression through courteous interactions and a welcoming attitude.
High School diploma, GED, higher education, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
Monday to Thursday, 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:45 AM - 12:00 PM, with potential coverage until 3:00 PM on some days. Occasionally may need to stay until patient procedures are complete.
