Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a dedicated sitter/health care aide to provide care for patients who are suicidal or at risk to fall, or who cannot call for assistance. This role requires vigilance, empathy, and the ability to respond promptly to emergencies.

You will float between locations as assigned, following oral and written instructions. A current GA CNA license, BLS certification, and CPI training (onboarding) are required or may be obtained after onboarding.

Qualifications

• GA CNA license must be current.
• Minimum 1 year of related healthcare experience.
• Ability to follow oral instructions.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• BLS certification required.
• CPI training for volatile patients may be obtained after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide sitter/health care services for patients at risk to self or others.
• Monitor patients and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Float between locations as assigned and follow instructions.
