Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a dedicated Sitter/Health Care technician to care for patients at risk, including those who are suicidal or may harm themselves. You will provide sitter services and monitor safety, while floating between locations as needed on a 7 PM–7:30 AM shift.

The role requires a GA CNA license, BLS, and CPI training (which can be obtained after onboarding). Prior healthcare experience is valued for effective patient supervision and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current GA CNA license.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to follow oral instructions.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• BLS required.
• Crisis prevention intervention training (CPI) for volatile patients (may be obtained after onboarding).

Responsibilities

• Provides sitter/health care services to patients who are suicidal or at risk to fall, unable to call for assistance, or whose actions place others at risk.
• Floats between various locations as assigned.

Responsibilities

Provides Sitter/Health Care services to patients who are diagnosed as suicidal or are at risk to fall, unable to call for assistance, patient’s actions place the safety of other patients at risk or is at risk for harming self (i.e. patient pulling invasive lines or tubes). Floats between various locations as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written instructions.
