Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Patient Sitter to ensure patient safety through constant supervision and non-clinical care within the East Valley locations. You will support nursing staff, help with comfort needs, and maintain patient dignity and privacy in a compassionate manner.

Ideal candidates have HS coursework and at least 6 months in a hospital role preferred; willingness to learn proper safety techniques and hand hygiene.

Qualifications

• Observes patient for basic changes in condition, comfort or safety issues.
• Non-clinical basic patient care tasks and comfort support.

Responsibilities

• Observes patient for basic changes in condition, comfort or safety issues and reports to Nursing personnel when intervention or clinical monitoring is required.
• Assists patient with basic comfort needs such as arranging pillows, handling patient food, drink or supplies, as long as patient does not have any special needs, allergies, diet or activity restrictions.
