Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Manager of Patient Safety to lead the hospital-wide risk management program, focusing on loss prevention and claims control for patients, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities include acting as Risk Management liaison in the absence of the Risk Manager and ensuring confidentiality of records while supporting regulatory compliance and clinical safety improvement goals.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in patient safety or risk management.
• RN licensure required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• LHRM, CPHRM or CPPS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hospital-wide risk management activities to identify, assess and reduce potential risk for patients, visitors and staff.
• Act as Risk Management liaison in the absence of the Risk Manager.
• Ensure confidentiality of all Risk Management records and support regulatory compliance.
