Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Patient Safety Specialist to support daily operations of patient safety and clinical risk management, including incident reporting, classification, tracking trends, investigations, and action plan development. The role collaborates with leadership, conducts risk assessments, participates in Root Cause Analysis, coordinates recalls, and supports education programs.

A BSN and Idaho RN licensure (or multi-state compact) are required, with 3 years healthcare experience

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Graduate of a nationally accredited Nursing program.
• Idaho RN licensure or temporary licensure documented; multi-state compact with Idaho acceptable.
• 3 years healthcare experience required.
• Patient safety or risk management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incident report identification, classification, tracking trends, investigations and action plans for improvement.
• Assist with investigations and response to requests for interrogatories related to claims and litigation.
• Assist with employee and provider risk management education and orientation.
• Support development and maintenance of patient safety education programs.
• Conduct risk assessments and assist with corrective action plans related to patient safety concerns.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis processes and follow up on action plans.
• Coordinate product recall processes.
• Coordinate provider peer review.
• Maintain strong clinical skills and regular attendance.
