Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Patient Safety Specialist to support the implementation and sustainment of a comprehensive patient safety program at the operating unit level. You will monitor safety events, identify trends, and promote a culture of safety through frontline engagement and education.

Collaborating with clinical and operational leaders, Mission Partners, and interdisciplinary teams, you will help identify risks, drive corrective actions, and improve reliability in care delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree is required.
• 2 years healthcare experience in quality or safety roles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree; CPPS or CPHQ certification.

Responsibilities
