Job summary

Cameron Health is seeking a Quality and Risk Coordinator to support the organization’s Patient Safety Program and safety event reporting. You will administer reporting, assist investigations, and collaborate with leaders to reduce harm and strengthen a learning culture.

Responsibilities include root cause analyses, dashboards, and education on safety principles, while ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards across departments.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills and ability to coordinate across departments.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong written and verbal communication.
• General knowledge of healthcare operations and regulatory expectations.
• Quality improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient safety event reporting including review, triage, routing, follow-up, and closure of events and near misses.
• Assist investigations with records collection, event timelines, interviews, and contributing factors.
• Lead Root Cause Analyses and other reviews; document findings and follow-up actions.
• Monitor event-reporting trends and prepare dashboards and reports for leaders and committees.
• Educate stakeholders on patient safety principles and reporting processes.
