Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Safety Observer for Medical Telemetry at Highland Park Hospital on a per diem basis. You will support patient supervision, monitor condition changes, and ensure safety under the direction of the unit leadership.

Responsibilities include observing patients, communicating needs, and maintaining logs while adhering to infection control protocols. Rotational shifts may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Care Companion class completion within two weeks of start date.
• CPR BLS certification required from ARC or AHA.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor patient conditions under supervision.
• Provide compassionate supervision and attention to patients.
• Maintain safe environment and assist with basic tasks as needed.
