Patient Safety Manager - Remote (Solventum)

The Patient Safety Manager champions product safety through involvement in product development, post-market surveillance, risk management, clinical support and education. This position maintains thorough knowledge of the science and general medical knowledge relevant to the broad portfolio solutions of the Medical Solutions Division.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

This individual will be an informed resource about products and treatment innovations in health care and will be an advise MSD team members regarding questions and issues that arise. They will contribute clinical experience in the development of clinical products. Author Instructions for use application steps for new developed products. Develop risk assessments for new innovative products. Author clinical reports, Benefit Risk Analysis, Post Marker Surveillance Reports, Clinical development Plans.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in nursing AND three (3) years of clinical writing.
  • High School Diploma/GED AND seven (7) years of clinical writing.

AND

  • Three (3) years medical device development experience.

  • Ability to handle the complexity of multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong in clinical writing
  • Experience in risk assessments
  • Experience with regulatory requirements
  • Strong clinical experience
  • Computer and analytical skills (Microsoft excel, Word, TEAMS, Power Point)
  • Master's degree in science or business discipline from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of experience in quality, or risk management
  • Prior experience in post market surveillance and vigilant
Work location:
  • Remote

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
