Under the direction of the Manager of Float Pool, Clinical House, and unit-based licensed nursing staff, the Patient Safety Companion/ COis utilized to sit with patients who are experiencing the following situations including but not limited to : suicide potential, potential to harm self or others, restless and or confused. The safety companion is to maintain continuous visual observation of the patient.
