Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare provider CPR certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to speak, understand, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct observation for patients requiring safety supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, feeding, etc.).
• Maintain direct line of sight with patients and ensure safety at all times.
• Use infection control practices and standard precautions.
• Communicate patient information to the RN and interdisciplinary team in a timely manner.
• Document patient behaviors and interventions.
• Support preceptor duties and mentor newer staff.
