Job summary

VPNE Parking Solutions LLC is seeking a Patient Observer to support a multidisciplinary treatment team in providing safe, therapeutic care. The role involves continuous one-to-one observation, reporting changes to the nurse, and maintaining a safe environment for patients.

Under RN supervision, you will assist with activities and behavioral techniques, ensuring patient dignity and safety while following care plans and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years experience in Psychiatry or related field preferred.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the nursing staff to maintain a therapeutic milieu and safe care.
• Provides one-to-one observation with continuous visualization to ensure safety.
• Notifies the nurse of changes in patient condition.
• Maintains patient supervision at all times and supports active engagement in activities.
• Implements patient care plans under RN direction to preserve safety and dignity.
• Maintains a clean and safe patient environment.
• Participates in teaching behavioral techniques such as relaxation and coping skills.
