Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver seeks a Patient Safety Attendant to monitor patients at risk for falls and self-harm from a remote station, communicating concerns in real time to support rapid care actions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS, and timely de-escalation training. Prior healthcare experience is preferred; CPR/BLS within 30 days. Shifts are 0630-1900 or 1830-0700 on an as-needed basis with comprehensive benefits.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. From your remote station, you will closely monitor their physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns in real time – empowering the care team to respond quickly and helping care for and improve lives one moment at a time.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
• Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent is required
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• De-escalation training is required within 90 days of the hire date.
• One or more years of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
