Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Colorado is seeking a Patient Safety Attendant to monitor at-risk patients, preventing falls and self-harm during night shifts. You will closely observe patients and communicate concerns in real time to empower the care team to respond quickly.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure safety and well-being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and alert the care team promptly.
• Document patient activity and changes accurately during your shift.
• Safeguard patient privacy at all times.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to foster compassion, respect, and teamwork.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. You will closely monitor their physical and emotional well-being and communicate concerns in real time – empowering the care team to respond quickly and helping care for and improve lives one moment at a time. This is a nights position.

Your responsibilities will include

• Watching patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
• Identifying risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alerting the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients
• Documenting patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
• Honoring patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
• Collaborating closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork

What qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
