• Intervene to prevent patient self-harm or harm to others and seek immediate assistance.
• Create clear and accurate documentation of patient status and activities during shift.

Job Description

• Assists nursing staff with tasks such as transporting patients, delivering equipment and supplies, transporting specimens, delivering patient trays, answering phones, and assisting visitors when not providing direct patient observation.
• Intervenes to prevent patient self‑harm or harm to others and seeks immediate assistance for escalating incidents.
• Demonstrates knowledge and respect for patient rights to privacy and confidentiality.
• Creates clear and accurate documentation of patient status and activities during shift.
• Promotes positive patient interactions and advocates for patients and family‑centered care in all decisions and actions.
