Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, KS, seeks a Patient Safety Attendant to provide continuous observation for high‑risk patients. You will work with the nursing team to maintain a safe environment, prevent falls, and support basic activities of daily living.

You will accompany patients during transports, tests and procedures and follow fall prevention and infection control protocols to ensure an optimal patient experience within a high‑quality care setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Basic Life Saving Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• De-Escalation Training required within first 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a direct line of sight with patient at all times, including when family/visitors are present.
• Accompany patients and ensure safety during transportation, testing and procedures away from the patient.
• Establish a safe environment by following fall prevention protocols and infection control measures.
• Perform room assessments regularly and after visits.
