Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ is seeking a dedicated hospital aide to provide safe patient observation and support the care team. Responsibilities include assisting with direct and indirect patient care, contributing to high-quality care, and working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

A High School Diploma is required and CPR certification is preferred, with night shifts (9 PM–5:30 AM) and a regular schedule.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Experience in hospital/patient care is advantageous.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills required.

Short Description


  • Functions in the role of providing a safe environment for patients requiring close observation. Assists in providing direct, indirect, and non-patient care responsibilities.

  • Contributes to quality patient care by serving as a significant member of the health care team.


Experience Required


  • Previous hospital/patient care experience preferred and and/or CNA Certification.

  • Demonstrates confidence in interpersonal relationships and effective communication skills.

  • Basic patient care skills preferred.


Education Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.


License/Certification Requirements

American Heart Association CPR Certified.


Special Requirements


  • Shift Requirements

    • 9PM-5:30AM

    • 5 shifts every week

    • Every other weekend preassigned

    • Every other holiday & 1 hallmark holiday
