Excela Health is seeking a Patient Safety Associate to help provide a safe environment for patients requiring supervision and companionship. You will assist with clinical and non-clinical tasks, monitor patients, and support unit staff across campuses.
This role may travel between Excela Health sites as needed and requires compassionate interpersonal abilities. You will accompany patients to testing areas, transport supplies, and interact with waiting families.
The Patient Safety Associate provides a safe environment for a patient who is requiring supervision, companionship and/or diversion. The Patient Safety Associate may also assist with other clinical and non-clinical routine tasks, including observation documentation, to ensure the effective delivery of services to patients and other customers of Excela Health. The Patient Safety Associate may be required to travel between sites as needed.
