CoxHealth in Missouri is seeking a Nursing CARE PSA South patient sitter to help maintain safety for medical patients through continuous observation. You will coordinate with the Registered Nurse and patient care team to ensure a secure, supportive environment while monitoring for changes.

This role requires every other weekend, with 12-hour day or night shifts possible. Night differential is $1.75. Must be 18+, with clear communication and basic computer skills.

Job Description

Is effectively involved with maintaining the safety for assigned patients through continuous observation and surveillance. Communicates with the Registered Nurse and patient care team to ensure a safe environment for medical patients requiring constant observation. Completes duties as assigned under the direct supervision of the RN.

Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates

This position will require every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in addition to varied weekday shifts. Recruiter will discuss shift availability upon time of offer.

Dependent upon availability, possible shifts could include: 12-hour shifts Day or night shift.

Night shift differential: $1.75

Education

• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

• Preferred: Previous patient sitter experience
