Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through American Heart Association.
• Customer service and effective communication skills are essential.
• Critical thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail are required.
• Ability to remain emotionally mature, exercise sound judgment, and make quick decisions.
• Ability to de-escalate and intervene with aggressive patients.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• 50% Patient/Environmental Safety: observe hazards, document checks, report changes to RN.
• 25% Patient care: assist in hygiene, comfort, and safety under RN guidance.
• 20% Communication: gather data, report to RN, provide shift handoff.
• 5% Emergency response: maintain composure and execute policies.
