A leading remote services provider is seeking a Patient Resource Specialist to provide compassionate care to patients. In this role, you will build relationships through calls and assist with various patient needs. This independent contractor position allows for flexible scheduling, offering a rate of $15 per hour with additional incentives based on performance. Ideal candidates are empathetic with strong communication skills and a healthcare background.
As a Patient Resource Specialist, you’ll provide services for our client, an innovative biotechnology and pharmaceutical company that is dedicated to reducing the barriers that prevent people from accessing and affording the medications they need. You’ll build relationships with patients and provide compassionate care via outbound and inbound calls.
In this role, you’ll be assigned a dedicated list of patients and you’ll be responsible for reaching out to your patients at periodic intervals following a set schedule that works for each patient. You’ll build ongoing, professional relationships with each of your patients, serving as a friendly, trusted advisor.

What You’ll Be Doing
Pay & Perks
Patient Resource Specialists invoice at a rate of $15 per hour, with the opportunity to earn additional incentives each month for reaching client-determined goals.
Plus, your remote, independent contractor status allows you to work in the comfort of your own home.

Supported Production, which occurs after certification, runs for two weeks on the following schedule:
o Week 1: Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm ET
o Week 2: Set your own schedule within the client’s hours of operation (Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm ET)
o Completing the first two weeks of certification: $100
o Completing the second two weeks of certification: $100
o Completing supported production: $100
o Completing 45 days of service: $1,000

Hours of Operation
As an independent contractor, you’ll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule within the client’s hours of operation, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET. Within those hours of operation, you’ll determine your own schedule, provided you meet each of the following third-party client requirements:

Your Home Office Environment
To be a Patient Resource Specialist, you will need a Windows PC. Chromebooks and Macs cannot be used. You will need a computer and equipment meeting the following specifications, at a minimum:
