Job summary

CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a patient services representative to join our team in Kansas City. You will check-in patients, answer calls, verify insurance, and ensure accurate demographic and payment information is collected to support seamless care delivery.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, the ability to navigate multiple computer systems, and are willing to obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows Web Check-in procedures.
• Answers clinic phone calls and provides information or routes questions as needed.
• Verifies insurance timely and accurately.
• Ensures occupational client’s preference card and procedures are followed.
• Reviews patient paperwork for completeness and collects insurance/demographic information.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift; ensures all payments are documented.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:
