Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care, an HCA Healthcare affiliate, is hiring a Patient Care Representative. You will check-in patients, answer calls, verify insurance, gather demographic data, and balance shifts. The role supports a wide range of urgent care services across extended hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows Web Check-in procedures.
• Answers clinic phone calls and provides information or referrals as needed.
• Verifies insurance in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follows occupational client’s preference card and procedures.
• Reviews patient paperwork for completeness and collects insurance/demographic information.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift with documented payments.
• Adheres to CareNow Urgent Care Clinic hours and maintains flexibility.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Patient Care Representative like you who provides expertise and is a champion of patient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner. Ensures all Web Check-in procedures are followed
• Answers phone calls to the clinic and provides information or refers questions to others as needed
• Verifies insurance timely and accurately
• Ensures the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures
• Reviews all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and insures collection of necessary insurance / demographic information
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift. Includes all forms of payment are accounted for and documented
• The CareNow Urgent Care Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-9pm, Saturdays 8am-8pm, and Sundays 8am-5pm. You must have the flexibility to work during those hours.

What Qualifications you will need:
