About the Role:

SleepQuest is seeking an experienced and personable Patient Relations Representative who thrives in a phone-centered environment and has a strong background in administrative phone-based support within healthcare. This role is crucial to supporting our patients through their journey by serving as the first point of contact, providing clear communication, and guiding them through the patient portal.

The ideal candidate is proactive, patient-focused, tech-savvy, phone-savvy, and deeply familiar with the healthcare process, particularly when it comes to insurance navigation, scheduling, and administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary phone contact for patient inquiries via phone and email

Inform patients that their referral has been received

Explain the referral process and outline next steps

Provide insurance coverage reviews, rental projections, and financial consultations

Collaborate with the team and the Manager to maintain educational materials and FAQs

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of administrative phone experience in a healthcare setting ishighlypreferred

Excellent communication and customer service skills — both verbal and written

Ability to multitask in a high-volume call environment

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Brightree experience is a plus

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

High school diploma or equivalent required

Previous experience in a call center or high-touch patient support role strongly preferred

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer

Comfortable withconstantphone use and virtual communication
