Patient Registration Specialist

Pay: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Additional scheduling options, including evenings and weekends, may be available at select clinic locations based on staffing needs.

Patient Registration Specialists play an important role in creating a positive experience for patients by providing excellent customer service, completing registrations, verifying insurance information, and ensuring accurate data entry into the electronic medical records system (EMR).

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of customer service, administrative, medical office, or related experience preferred
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, email, and general computer systems; experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) is helpful
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy medical office environment
• Medical terminology, patient registration, or insurance verification experience is preferred
• Background screening is part of the hiring process
• Must support a drug-free work environment
