Kettering Health is seeking a Patient Access Registered professional in Middletown for full-time third shift. The role focuses on accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and handling documentation in line with regulatory standards.

As the first point of contact, you will deliver courteous service, maintain confidentiality, and support Kettering Health’s mission and B Safe program while balancing fast-paced patient needs.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare administrative or patient service experience.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Patient Registration I role supports patient care and operational reliability by accurately registering patients, verifying insurance, and ensuring all required documentation is completed in accordance with regulatory standards. This position serves as a first point of contact, providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED.

Required Work Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare administrative or customer service role.

Required Licenses, Certifications, And Registrations

• None required.

• Review an account for quality and confirmation and can demonstrate the ability to update all aspects of a patient account
• Assist patients with the completion of Financial Assistance Forms, HCAP Application and Medicaid Applications (if applicable)
• Demonstrate knowledge of all compliance or legally required registration forms, consents, literature and documents
• Employee demonstrates consistent hand hygiene practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field.

Preferred Work Experience

• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with medical terminology
• bilingual or multilingual abilities.
