UTMB Health is seeking a patient placement coordinator to collect and analyze data on admissions, transfers, and bed availability to improve patient care and bed utilization. The role involves coordinating bed assignments from ED, surgery, clinics, and transfers, and entering data into the EPIC system with strict confidentiality.
Required are an Associate’s degree or equivalent and two years of related experience.
The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD).
Collects and analyzes data on patient admissions, transfers and bed availability in specified clinical areas to improve patient care and maximize bed utilization.
Standard office equipment.
Security clearance is required; pre-employment drug testing is also required.
Associate’s degree or equivalent and two (2) years related experience.
Two (2) years of work experience directly related to patient placement.
Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
