Mass General Brigham is seeking a Per Diem Patient Observer at Martha's Vineyard Hospital, Inc. under RN direction to monitor at-risk patients. You will perform care tasks aligned with patient needs, maintain confidentiality, and follow hospital guidelines.

• Some healthcare experience (0–1 year) preferred.
• Must be able to maintain constant observation.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsabilités

• Maintain constant observation of patient.
• Document the care of patient under observation.
• Keep nurse informed of changes in the patient's condition.
• Assist patient in the event of a fall.
• Receives and provides detailed handoff information from/to staff regarding the patient and their status.
• Assist with feeding patient(s) as directed by the RN.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Job Summary

Under RN direction, provides constant observation to patients identified as a risk to themselves or others. Responsible for providing care related tasks in accordance with the individual needs of the patient, maintaining patient confidentiality and following hospital guidelines.

Qualifications

Can this role accept experience in lieu of Education requirements? No High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Some healthcare experience; 0-1 year preferred.

Essential Functions
