TouchPoint Support Services is hiring for a Patient Observation Lead in Austin, TX. This role manages the Patient Observation Associates, ensuring safe and timely observation of patients who cannot be left unattended, and supports the department's managers in daily operations.

Responsibilities include leading staff, coordinating assignments, ensuring compliance, and covering shifts as needed. Previous customer service and leadership experience are required, with shifts including day and night

• Cross-trained in Patient Transport and/or other departments when/where applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time PATIENT OBSERVATION LEAD positions.
• Address: Dell Seton Medical Center at University of Texas - 1500 Red River Street, Austin, TX 78701. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules. Part time schedule; 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, days may vary. Full time schedule; 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, days may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous customer service and leadership experience required.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Job Summary

This role is the team leader of Patient Observation associates and assists the department’s managers in the successful operation of the Patient Observation and Transport Program. This job is responsible for the safe, timely and accurate observation of patients who cannot be left unattended.
