Job summary

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification required by first day of work (state restrictions apply).
• Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Delivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process.
• Performs food preparation functions according to system standards (salads, sandwiches, vegetables, fruit).
• Follows standardized Nutrition Services practices (dining experience, meal delivery, stock levels).
• Performs housekeeping functions including cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, floor care, equipment.
• Performs accurate cash/credit transactions and resolves basic customer service issues.
