Job summary

Corewell Health's Nutrition team is hiring a part-time nutrition support professional to coordinate menu selections and educate patients with moderately complex diets. You will maintain patient information in our software and assist with diet orders, tray assembly, and production tallies, ensuring accuracy across systems.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service experience, knowledge of basic diet principles, and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in customer-facing service either on the phone or in person.
• CRT-Accredited Food Handler - ANSI NAB 90 Days
• CRT-Accredited Food Allergy Certificate - ANSI NAB 90 Days
• CRT-Accredited Food Protection Manager, CFP - ANSI NAB 90 Days

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone and processes diet orders, special diets instructions, transfers, discharges and guest tray information.
• Updates and maintains patient data files within appropriate software system/database.
• Assembles tray tickets/menus and verifies consistency with the software system, adjusting as needed.
