Job summary

Stonewall Memorial Hospital in Stamford, TX is hiring for a Diet Technician / Patient Ambassador in the Food and Nutrition Department. We offer full-time and part-time roles with day, evening, and night shifts and a wage of $13.30 per hour.

The role supports a registered dietitian, conducts nutritional screenings, documents plans, and ensures meals meet patient needs while upholding safety policies. Applicants must be 18+, hold RD T/RDT credentials or LD/LDT, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments to create care plans with nutritional goals.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Provide oversight for patient services and monitor meal service.
• Record patient preferences on meal tickets and ensure meals meet resident needs.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management to maintain department operations.
