Responsibilities

• Gather patient menus and communicate data to health professionals.
• Assemble food and tray items for patient tray set-up.
• Deliver trays, snacks, and required supplies to patient units.
• Portion foods into individual servings and label items.
• Stock ancillary kitchens with supplies and maintain order.
• Maintain sanitary standards in the kitchen area for food service.
• Assist in gathering Quality Assurance data.
• Report equipment needing repair or special food supplies.
• Record temperatures for refrigerators/freezers and report issues.
• Submit requests for office supplies, menus, and forms.
• Observe and maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
