Qualifications

The primary responsibility of this role is communication and coordination of care. As a Patient Navigator, you will engage with our patients to coordinate their medical services and ensure they have access to the resources they need. You will work closely with our medical team, advocate for our patients, and help them navigate the complexities of their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Building strong relationships with patients to understand their needs and guide them through their healthcare options.
• Assisting patients with scheduling appointments, understanding their treatment plans, and navigating insurance coverage.
• Acting as a liaison between the patients and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
• Supporting patients with medical record management and ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Following up with patients post-appointments to ensure they have the support and resources they need.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a focus on patient interaction.
• Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
• Keen organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English - preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required, with an associate degree preferred.
  
  

Position pays $25/hr to $32/hr depending on experience and certifications.

This is an office position. Amaze Health is located at I25 and Bellview.
