Job summary

OhioHealth seeks a dedicated educator to provide education and support to screening and patients within the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program - Impact. The role focuses on addressing healthcare disparities, coordinating resources and care with managing physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and advocating for patients and families across OhioHealth departments.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Experience in public health or addiction treatment knowledge is desirable.
• Desirable certification may vary by department.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs, provides education, assesses learning achieved, and provides support and navigation to patients and families.
• Participates in quality control and assurance.
• Participates in process improvement activities including collaboration with community organizations.
• Other duties may vary by department such as various program coordination, maintaining registries and collection and preparation of data for metrics reporting.
