Job summary

Cardiovascular Services of America, known as CVAUSA, is seeking a skilled healthcare professional to support remote patient monitoring across our physician network. You will collect vital signs, review data, report abnormal findings, and help maintain accurate monitor logs while following clinical protocols.

• High School diploma and relevant certifications required.
• 1 year of healthcare experience or healthcare certification.
• Medical Assistant, EKG technician, or Paramedic license preferred.
• Strong technical and computer skills.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday during traditional business hours.

Responsibilities

• Support patients in collecting remote patient data – BP, weight, glucose, pulse oximetry.
• Communicate abnormal findings to the cardiology care team.
• Record and edit remote monitor logs.
• Troubleshoot monitoring devices and data transmission with patients.
• Follow clinical protocols and orient new staff.
• Participate in ongoing team education and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to high-quality service for physicians and patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to)

We are looking for candidates who want to use their expertise to improve the care and outcomes of patients requiring remote patient monitoring. We are recruiting candidates that have excellent analytical skills, experience with collecting vital signs and lab values and can provide clear reporting to the cardiology care team. Below are expected responsibilities:

• Support patients in collecting remote patient data – examples are blood pressure, weight, blood sugar, pulse oximetry
• Communicating abnormal findings to the cardiology care team.
• Recording and editing monitor logs
• Basic monitor troubleshooting with patients – i.e., managing devices and transmitting data.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols.
• Orient new staff.
• Participate in continued team education through shared learnings.
• Contribute to a high-quality service both to physicians and patients.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Medical Assistant certification
• EKG technician
