Enloe Health in Northern California is seeking a Patient Monitor to support nursing teams in hospital units and the Emergency Department. Under RN supervision, you will provide psychological supportive services, perform safety checks and assist patients with activities of daily living.

This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, strict confidentiality, and teamwork. Current CPR certification is required, and previous hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate communication skills and sensitivity for the hospitalized patient and family.
• Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Current CPR certification (minimum requirement).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under RN supervision in hospital units and ED.

Compensation range: $20.44 - $26.16

Your rate of pay will be based on applicable experience

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Patient Monitor may give patient care in the Enloe Medical Center Nursing Units and Emergency Department. They provide psychological supportive services, perform safety checks and assist the patients with activities of daily living. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Monitor provides a safety function for the nurse by providing therapeutic care to the confused, combative or mentally ill patient. The Patient Monitor collaborates with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the plan of care. The Patient Monitor supports and contributes to the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center. The Patient Monitor may need to administer CPR to patients in an emergency situation.
