Overview

Part-Time 16 hrs/week, varied hours, every third weekend and holiday rotation

We specialize in: Gynecology and Breast Surgeries, including advanced procedures like DIEP flap reconstruction, ENT and General Surgery, and Acute Medical Diagnoses. Responsibilities
  • Contributes toward accomplishment of patient’s plan of care goals by providing mobility activities as assigned by the nurse.
  • Assists patients and their families in learning to safely manage personal care while increasing activity, strength, and endurance.
  • Effectively works with the patient and their interdisciplinary care team, reinforcing and promoting therapy/mobility initiatives.
  • Effectively communicates changes in patient condition and functional ability to support an expedited change in the patient’s plan of care and prevention of more serious complications.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Prior related health care experience preferred

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Valid driver\'s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
  • MOAB (will be obtained during training)

Level 3: Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
