Job summary

ChristianaCare Health System is seeking a dedicated Food & Nutrition Services Assistant to support patient meal service and sanitation operations in Elkton, MD. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Candidates currently enrolled in high school will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high-volume patient meal trays accurately and efficiently according to trayline tickets and delivery schedules.
• Ensure items are correctly portioned using designated utensils and placed properly on trays.
• Read, interpret, and prepare meals for regular and therapeutic diets.
• Differentiates standard vs modified diet requirements including special items and textures.
• Replenish hot and cold items to maintain meal service operations.
