Job summary

Dallas Regional Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Per Diem Dietary Aide to join our days shift.

You will prepare and serve meals for patients, staff and visitors, ensure food safety, operate kitchen equipment, restock supplies, clean areas, and process meal orders and cash transactions.

County-specific certifications and a high school diploma or equivalent preferred; county food handler certification required on hire.

Qualifications

• County Specific requirement.
• County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ensure food safety by following hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment like ovens, slicers, or dishwashers.
• Stock supplies and maintain inventory.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Take and fulfill meal orders according to dietary guidelines for patients.
• Handle cash or operate a register for cafeteria transactions.
