Job summary

Georgetownbehavioral Health seeks a Dietary Aide to support quality meals and nutritional services for patients, staff and guests. You will participate in meal service, maintain a clean work area, and help with deliveries and stock while adhering to food safety standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and completion of a Food Handler's Certificate within 30 days of hire. Two years in kitchen or customer service, preferably healthcare, is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire.
• Two years’ experience in kitchen or customer service helpful, preferably healthcare.
• Knowledge of food safety/hygiene and ability to read recipes/instructions.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to cafeteria customers.
• Clean work area as necessary or assigned.
• Accept and reconcile deliveries and put away stock.
• Assist the cook and dietary supervisor in food preparation.
• Participate in activities which enhance professional growth and development.
• Uphold the Organization's ethics and customer service standards.
