Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Food Service Assistant I in Arlington Heights, IL. This part-time role requires 20 weekly hours with varied shifts. You will prepare stations, assemble meals, perform side-work, and support team members while maintaining safety and HACCP standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and, ideally, prior kitchen experience with knowledge of diets. English communication skills are essential for daily operations and guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Prior kitchen experience and knowledge of diets is preferred.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel; English proficiency both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Examines filled trays or orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Sets up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
• Completes all required side-work, including deep-cleaning assignments.
• Assists other team members and provides courteous service to guests.
• Reports accidents and injuries promptly; participates in safety trainings.
