ThedaCare Medical Center – Shawano in Wisconsin is seeking a Food Service Associate II to prepare, assemble, and deliver patient meals and provide cafeteria service. You will assist with onboarding, maintain food safety standards, and ensure timely meal service across departments.

The role requires following standard work, good teamwork, and a commitment to quality in a dynamic hospital environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assembles meal trays and meals, snacks, and nourishments per order and diet guidelines.
• Loads and transports food carts and delivers to patient rooms or designated areas.
• Follows food handling procedures to ensure safety and infection control.
• Performs prep work like washing fruits/vegetables and portioning desserts.
• Cooks food using proper techniques to meet quality standards for portion size and taste.
• Takes patient meal orders and enters into nutrition software, ensuring diet orders and allergies are respected.
• Delivers and stocks food supplies, rotates items, and monitors expiration dates.
• Restocks and maintains food and supplies; assists in ordering and invoicing.
• Performs cashier duties and maintains cafeteria cleanliness.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, and equipment; supports training of new team members.
• Collaborates with disciplines to provide appropriate meal and floor stock service.
• Delegates duties and provides guidance in absence of a leader.
• Applies critical thinking to day-to-day operations and communicates updates.
• Performs quality audits for meal assembly and tray delivery.
