Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services team member in Grosse Pointe to support patient meal service. You will answer calls, assemble patient trays, clean and sanitize dishes, deliver trays, and manage stock.

No prior experience required; you will be trained and supported to grow within the role. Key responsibilities include preparing serving lines, maintaining cold items, operating the tray line, and ensuring accurate patient deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines including dishes, silverware, and food items.
• Prepares and assembles cold items and ensures proper storage, dating and refrigeration.
• Serves food, replenishes items as needed.
• Cleans food stations and equipment after use.
• Operates cash register and processes payments accurately.
• Counts cash and deposits money as required.
• Cleans and sanitizes dishes and equipment.
• Loads and unloads the dishwasher.
• Maintains sanitary conditions through daily cleaning tasks.
• Delivers meals to patient rooms, verifying patient details for accuracy.
• Supports quality monitoring activities related to food safety and temperatures.
