Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Steward/ess to provide direct meal service to patients with a friendly and efficient approach. You will obtain patient feedback and help resolve issues to enhance service quality.

Collaborating with leadership, you will contribute to improving the overall food and nutrition care provided to patients, while performing duties with awareness of cultural, age, and safety considerations for diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• No diploma/degree required - minimum
• High School Diploma/GED - preferred
• 1 year Prefer 1 year of food service or comparable experience serving others - preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct meal service to patients in a friendly and efficient manner under minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with leadership staff to improve the quality of food and nutrition care services for patients.
• Perform duties with sensitivity to the cultural, age, developmental, and environmental safety needs of the patient populations served.
