Job summary

Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, NJ, seeks a Food Services Representative I to prepare and serve foods in patient and retail environments. You will assemble and deliver meal trays, restock stations, interact with patients, and ensure food safety and quality across shifts.

This per diem role supports varied schedules with weekends on a rotating basis. A high school diploma is required; preferred is 1 year of food service or retail customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve foods and beverages in food service environments.
• Assemble and deliver meal trays for patients, restock items, collect soiled dishes, and sanitize areas.
• Interact with patients for meal orders and tray delivery; monitor quality, temperature, and safety.
• Inform leadership of safety issues on units, cafeteria, or kitchen.
• Maintain presentation and cleanliness; perform other related duties as assigned.
