Job summary

Hardin Memorial Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Patient Dining Associate to support patient meal service. You will help patients select meals, assemble and deliver trays, and ensure meals are accurate and delivered at the right time and temperature.

You will interact with dietitians, nursing staff and associates to meet service standards, maintain safety, and contribute to patient satisfaction in a dynamic nutrition services team.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals may apply with a valid work permit
• 18-year-old individuals enrolled in high school do not need a diploma/work permit to be considered

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and meal orders
• Assemble, deliver and retrieve patient meal trays in a timely manner
• Maintain clear communications with dietitians, nursing and food service staff
• Prepare nourishments, stock stations, print reports and manage simple diet order changes
